2020 Youth Protection Training- Virtual
Youth Protection Training
Thursday, May 21st 7-9PM (virtual classroom opens at 6:45PM)
True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety
Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers. It is a joining requirement, and continued membership requires that it be retaken every two years.
The Greater St. Louis Area Council offers Youth Protection training in live, virtual classroom sessions using the Zoom online meeting service. Youth Protection training membership requirements are satisfied when a participant earns a passing grade on the knowledge assessment which concludes the session
IMPORTANT: When your scoutingevent.com event registration is complete, you will receive the first of two confirmation messages by email. The first message, from scoutingevent.com, will direct you to a Zoom meeting registration form. After you have completed the Zoom form, you will receive the second confirmation message, this time directly from Zoom. The Zoom confirmation message will contain the information you need to join the online meeting on the day of your course.
If you have questions, please refer to the "Contact" menu on the right side of this web page.
When registering, remember to provide your BSA member ID or indicate that you are a new member. Training is logged for registered members. Every participant who successfully completes a course will receive confirmation by email.
