St. Clair District Volunteer Recognition Dinner

This is a time for us to come together and celebrate the Great St. Clair District and everything accomplished in 2019! It is an evening full of fun, recognizing volunteers for all the hard work they out into making Scouting great! Dinner will be provided.

Date: Thursday, January 16th, 2020
 

Time: 6:30PM reception and dinner starting at 7:00PM
 

Location: Faith Lutheran Church. 520 E US-50, O’Fallon, IL 62269
 

Cost: Early bird pricing until 1/8/20: $20……………… After 1/8/20: $25

Awards presented at the dinner:
 

Outstanding Scouter Award: 
This award is to recognize someone in your unit for going above and beyond to support the Scouts in your Pack, Troop, Crew, or Ship. There is no tenure or position requirement. Please nominate one person from your unit. They must be at the District Dinner to receive the award.

Charter Organization of the Year Award: 
Started in 2018 The Charter Organization of the Year Award is a way to recognize your Chartering Organization for going above and beyond to support your Pack, Troop, Crew, Ship, or all Scouting Units. Please explain how your Charting Organization has supported your unit and the youth members. If selected, you will be notified. Please make sure the Charter Organization Representative or Institutional Head is present at the District Dinner to receive the award.

District Award of Merit: 
The District Award of Merit is a council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver Beaver is a national award presented by councils. The award is available to Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level. The award is made available annually on the basis of 1 for each 25 traditional units or fraction thereof. This is the highest award handed out at the district level.
