August 24th is the Council’s Shoot-O-Ree! Afterward, head over to the WWT Raceway at Gateway for the Indy Car Series and Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Races!  

As a thank you for attending the Shoot-O-Ree, we want to offer you and your family FREE tickets to the WWT Raceway at Gateway for the Indy Car Series and Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Races! Events are all afternoon/evening, but the big races start at 4:30PM & 7PM. Perfect for after a fun day of shooting sports!

  • TICKET WRISTBANDS ARE IN! You may begin to pick them up at the MacArthur Service Center and Cohen Belleville Service Center starting Monday at 8:30AM. You may pick them up any time next week during business hours 8:30AM to 5PM.
    • Tickets will also be at the Shoot O Ree at Beaumont which is 9AM to 3PM on Saturday August 24th for those who are attending both events.
  • While the event opens at 11:30AM, the general seating area will not open until 1:30PM. There are other activities to do until the seating opens. It is recommended to arrive by 3:30PM for the BEST race day experience.  The big races are at 4:30PM and 7PM. Be sure to see the schedule here:
    • Be sure to stay for the 7PM race as it’ll be the most exciting one! There will be a big pre-race parade and show so be in your seats no later than 6:30PM and get ready to CHEER!
  • Lastly, Your ticket is valid all day, if you want to come check out the support races, but please keep in mind the main event, the Bommarito 500, will not start until 6:30 PM.

New at the track this year >>>  STEM LANE <<<  Exhibits from noon to 7 p.m. will include St. Louis Student Robotics Association including several robots to drive; WWT Raceway’s race car simulator, Boy Scouts of America with 3D printing, snap circuits, microscopes and more; the American Welding Society with a welding project for kids, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri STEM activities, Ranken Technical College’s Supermileage car, and FIRST Robotics teams to display robots and complete challenges.
