Hooked On Fishing- October 3rd 2026

Details: Our mission is to teach Cub Scouts the basic skills needed for fishing and allow them to put the newly learned skills to work fishing in the lake. We encourage Cub Scout families to invite friends who may be interested in Scouting too! 

Registration will be from 8:00 to 8:45AM. Training from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with self-guided fishing as long as you want. Bring your fishing gear however, some equipment will be available to use if you don't have any. Worm will be provided for bait. 

Scouts, Parents, and Leaders will Learn: 
Fishing gear and equipment 
Casting techniques 
Knot tying 
Rigging a Rod & Reel 
Baiting a hook 
Safety, Regulations, & Fish ID 

Don't forget your snacks & drinks! 

Non-Scout friends can come free of charge!
