Thank you for signing up for the NRA Basics of Shotgun and Shotgun Instructor Course that will be taking place on March 21 and 22, 2026 at Rhodes France Scout Reservation.

The class will be held in NRA Building at Rhodes France Scout Reservation.  We will meet at 8:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2026, and should complete training on Sunday at approximately 7:00 pm.

Please dress casually since this will be a classroom setting. 
Lunch will be provided for both days as well as Saturday Dinner and Sunday Breakfast.
A cabin will be available for those wanting to spend Saturday night at camp due to the long hours of the class. 

Items you will need include:

    Notebook to take notes
    Pencil for the exams
    Highlighter
    Snacks

We will use council shotguns and ammo so please DO NOT BRING any firearms. Feel free to bring your own ear and eye protection.

A SEPARATE CREDENTIALING REQUIRED AFTER COMPLETION OF THE COURSE TO THE NRA, discounts are available for this fee.
