Seyer Industries presents Precision in Practice: Metalwork Merit Badge Workshop

Scouts BSA youth are invited to spend a full day inside Seyer Industries’ state-of-the-art aerospace manufacturing facility, focusing exclusively on the Metalwork Merit Badge.

This experience highlights precision machining and advanced manufacturing, showing Scouts how metal components are produced to exact specifications for aerospace applications. Scouts will learn how accuracy, tolerances, and quality control play a critical role in modern manufacturing, guided by professionals who work in this environment every day.

The program blends hands-on learning, structured instruction, and behind-the-scenes exposure to clean, high-tech manufacturing processes that represent the future of skilled trades and engineering.

No simulations. No lecture-only learning. This is modern metalwork in action!
