2024 EAGLE CLUB RECOGNITION BREAKFAST

The Andrew Jackson Council is excited to host the 1st Annual Eagle Club Recognition Breakfast, the kick-off to launch another great year of Scouting in Central & Southwest Mississippi, and the 2024 Friends of Scouting Campaign.  The funds raised by this campaign provide for all Scouting programs that instill character and leadership and teach young people the skills they need for life. 

Featuring Colonel Patrick Houlahan, "Top Gun" Pilot and Instructor.  

Colonel Houlahan is the founder and CEO of Strategic Leadership Consulting, LLC. Founded in 2019, Strategic Leadership Consulting's mission is to Build Inspired, Compassionate, Mission-Driven-Leaders. Colonel Houlahan has had a distinguished career in both the military and business world. He is a graduate of Top Gun and has served as a Top Gun Instructor. On top of these credentials, he is among our very own Scouts from the Andrew Jackson Council. 

The purpose of the Annual Eagle Club Recognition Breakfast is to serve as an inspirational kick-off to our 2024 Friends of Scouting Campaign, which is the primary funding source for the council and provides over $350,000 in support.  At breakfast, Eagle Club Table Hosts, Corporate leaders, Eagle Club Committee members, and Scouting volunteers will host their prospects and friends and encourage them to renew their Friends of Scouting gifts or give for the first time.  This is targeted to secure personal and corporate gifts from over 650+ donors who make gifts annually.  This will also enable us to enroll new givers in our annual Friends of Scouting campaign.  This breakfast will give the council a strong position in the first quarter of its fiscal year while conserving staff and volunteer time.  This time saved can then be applied to serving the council’s growing membership and program.
