BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation)
BALOO (BASIC ADULT Leader Outdoor Orientation)
Each Pack is required to have at least one BALOO-trained adult on every Cub Scout overnight outdoor event—including pack camping and Webelos/AOL Den overnighters. BSA’s Cub Scout-level camping policies will be taught along with the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.
Check-in begins at 6:00 AM Saturday Morning at the Snack Shack (weather permitting). The first training session begins at 8:00 AM. All participants are required to spend one-night camping in order to receive credit for the course. Do not forget to complete the online prerequisite course found at www.my.scouting.org.
