Save A Lake!  A great service project opportunity

Little Rock Lake, Rice, MN

Little Rock Lake is a distressed lake and is in need of help.  We have all heard about lakes that turn toxic and can become harmful to wildlife, pets, and humans.  Little Rock Lake near Rice, MN, is such a lake.  Minnesota DNR in conjunction with the Central Minnesota Council of the BSA, the Benton Soil Water Conservation District and The Little Rock Lake Association are planning a huge lake saving effort spanning over two weekends.

Unit leaders, parents and Scouts ages 10 and up are urged to help save this distressed lake.  With Scouts leading the way, the results will be massive and extremely impactful.  Please strongly consider participating with your Scouts in this major service project.

Camping costs are being donated by Benton County and meals are provided by the Little Rock Lake Association.  Meals include Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday breakfast and lunch.
