Teetonkah Webelos Overnight Camp 2022
Camp Teetonkah is the place for Webelos Scouts to enjoy a wide variety of activities!
In addition to the waterfront, shooting sports, nature education, STEAM, and other activities. Webelos Camp also offers camp wide activities such as campfire programs, competitions and games. Webelos and their leaders or parents will camp in small tent villages with others from their unit OR other families.
This Summer- For COVID compliancy each family is required to bring their own tent. If you cannot obtain one and need camp to provide one please email the Camp Director Peggy Etheridge at pegy.etheridge@scouting.org.
WEBELOS RESIDENT CAMP PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- A three-night camping experience
- New Program will be featured in program activities
- Evening programs like campfires, skits, and songs
- Exciting activities including Water Activities, Outdoor Cooking, Shooting BB Guns and Archery, Fishing, Nature Hikes, Games, and Laughter.
- Adults participates alongside their Scout learning about camping and the outdoors, the Scouting way!!
- Chose your own adventure program schedule! We will be bringing back the choose your own advenure program, which will allow you to choose the adventure you want to take during the scheduled program times.The adventures will be chosen before you arrive at camp.See update about chose your own adventure program Scheduling: Adventures will not be available to be chosen until March 15. You can still register for camp but adventures will open for registration on the 15th.
This program is designed for Webelos Scouts going into the 4th or 5th grades in the fall of 2022.
Webelos Resident Camp’s program is designed to incorporate requirements that will help the Scout complete adventures for the Webelos ranks only. The age appropriate programming is designed for the Webelos and Arrow of Lights to help them along their path to earn requirements that may not be easily achieved in the regular den/ pack meeting setting. We highly encourage only scouts working on their Webelos or Arrow of Light badges to come to camp.
Register online for Webelos Resident Camps, now or until all sessions reach capacity. You will be able to see the number of slots remaining per session. An early discounted fee of $150 per person is available if registered and paid in full by May 15, 2022.
- At the time of registration a $25.00 non-refundable deposit for each full-time camper is due. You will be expected to provide names and personal details during this online sign-up process.
- We encourage you to register by Pack rather than individually, but both are welcome.
- These fees cover the cost of all patches, program supplies, participation awards, meals, lodging, insurance, staffing, and more. T-shirts for Scouts and adults can be ordered at the time of registration for an additional costs.
- Sessions have a limited capacity. These programs are conducted as a two night experience. It is designed especially for youth going into 4th or 5th grade but registerd Scout sibilngs are welcome to attend.
All Webelos and their parents or leaders will be camping in Tent Villages located throughout camp. For COVID compliancy each family is required to bring thier own tent. If you cannot obtain one and need camp to provide one please email Peggy Etheridge at peggy.etheridge@scouting.org. In each village there is a fire pit and a pit latrine. Showers are available via a short hike to the Weatherwax Dining Hall. All meals are provided in our wonderful dining hall.
