We are required to use the updated 2026 Merit Badge Requirements

Merit Badge Mania offers Scouts an opportunity to meet with qualified counselors and earn up to four merit badges in one day. In order to achieve this, Scouts must complete the prerequisite requirements for each of the merit badges that they select. Some merit badges also require the completion of postrequisite requirements and follow up with the counselor for completion.

Each class session is limited in the number of seats available. There will not be a waiting list available for this program and classes are filled on a first registered basis. Units are encouraged to register as a unit rather than individual Scouts. There is a lunch break in the middle of the day, although the college does not have food service other than vending machines available. Scouts are encouraged to bring a lunch with them or there are several restaurants near by.

In addition to merit badge classes, there are several adult leader enrichment classes available.
