National Scout Jamboree 2023

Event Details

Jamboree 2023
Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind.

It’s a gathering of tens of thousands of Scouts, leaders, and Jamboree Service Team members that showcases everything that is great about the Boy Scouts of America. Over the course of 10 summer days, once every four years, the Boy Scouts of America gather together. Scouts and Scouters who attend will explore all kinds of adventures—stadium shows, pioneer village, Mount Jack hikes, adventure sports and more—in the heart of one of nature’s greatest playgrounds. With 10,000 acres at the Summit to explore, there’s no shortage of opportunities to build Scouting memories. National Jamboree is the best of Scouting rolled into 10 days of friends, fun and adventure! You won’t want to miss out, get ready to Face the Challenge and sign up to attend the Jamboree!

This event is for Scouts BSA & Venture Scouts

Registration and payment process for the 2023 National Scout Jamboree

  1. Confirm that you (adult or Scout) has an active BSA ID number at my.scouting.org
  2. Start and complete the application process at jamboree.scouting.org; find the “Blue Registration” button on top of the page
  3. The next step is to register with the Mayflower Council through our event registration system, Black Pug. This is the system that will record official attendance as part of the council’s legal permanent record and how all payments will be collected. If you have already completed registration through the Mayflower Council as well and are up to date with the payments, you are good to go. If you have not yet registered, please navigate to https://scoutingevent.com/251-Jamboree2023 and click on the green Register button in the upper right corner. Please complete all of the registration information and make sure you are current with payments due. Please note that the deadline to complete this process is Monday, October 31, 2022. If you are not registered through Black Pug and current in your payments by this deadline, we will have to suspend your registration for the National Scout Jamboree until you finalize your registration and are current in your payments. Please also note that the cost of the National Scout Jamboree attendance will increase by $215 (a direct pass-through of the increased cost imposed by the National Council) after the October deadline (see more below).

Jamboree Fee and Payment schedule after November 1, 2022

The participant price for any Scout or adult in Mayflower Council after November 1, 2022 is $3,115. This price increase reflects a direct pass-through of the increased cost imposed by the National Council of $215.00. Mayflower Council’s fee to cover various expenses WILL NOT increase; we are just reflecting a direct pass-through of the increased cost imposed by the National Council.

Realizing that this event is expensive, a monthly payment plan was put into effect starting in August 2022, with scheduled payments in November 2022, February, and May 2023. The added $215 will be added to your final payment in May. Depending on when you register will also depend on how much your initial payment will be. For example, if you register on November 17, 2022, you will have to cover the August 2022, November AND the February 2023 payments to be current on the payment plan for a total due on November 17th of $2,175.00 per person. The final May 2023 payment will be $940.00 per person.
