Growing Scouting Conference

Come to learn and discuss how we can grow Scouting by making it a welcoming place for ALL youth and volunteers of all backgrounds!

We’ll talk recruitment/retention, program, diversifying leadership, and more, all with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). 

Cost:

$20.00 - Adult (age 33 and under)

$30.00 - Adult (age 34+)

“Why the difference in price?

Our registration categories are following the same age categories that National defined for the National Jamboree (see prices listed by these age groups at  https://jamboree.scouting.org/jamboree-service-team/).

The idea is that the BSA wants younger adults to have opportunities to engage in leadership activities (as they are more in touch with current youth and their needs), but they are currently underrepresented in decision-making roles within Scouting. The financial cost of attending an event is a much more significant barrier for students / those early on in their careers. Therefore, the difference in prices is intended to make the conference more accessible to a population we specifically want to engage in these important discussions about the future of Scouting.”
