2026 District Pinewood Derby

National Pike District

Where: The Mall in Columbia – Center Court, Level 1

              10300 Little Patuxent Pkwy Columbia, MD 21044

When:  May 2, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

                Registration/Car Check-in: 9AM-10:30AM

                Scout and Open Races: 12PM-4PM

Scouts from across the district will bring their best hand-crafted cars to the BestTrack four-lane aluminum track for a day of friendly competition, speed, and Scouting fun. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus Best in Show and Crowd Favorite!

Additionally, bridged AOLs can still race if they were their Pack's top 3!

Please note: Due to the late timeline, this year's race rules remain the same as last year. Packs should refer to the 2025 National Pike District Pinewood Derby Regulations for full construction and racing rules can be found here.:

All Scouts and Leaders must wear uniforms in accordance with their pack's uniform guidelines.
