Thank you for supporting Baltimore through this trying time in the aftermath of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. 

We know the positive impact that the Scouting family can have when we mobilize our members for the greater good of others.

The recent collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge has and will have a long-term impact on our community. The Key Bridge connected jobs, commerce, travel, and livelihoods for many in the greater Baltimore area. The impact of this tragedy will go well beyond what we have already seen.   

To help and provide support to those in our community who are directly affected by this tragedy, the Baltimore Area Council has set a goal to raise $25,000 through the issuing of a special limited edition “Maryland Tough - Baltimore Strong/Francis Scott Key Bridge” Council patch. This limited edition “Maryland Tough - Baltimore Strong” council patch is available for $25 each and funds raised will be given to the “Bridging the Gap” campaign being administered by the United Way of Central Maryland.

Postage is included in $25 cost. All patch orders must be received by June 1st. NO IN PERSON ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 

All patches ordered PRIOR to MAY 1 have been sent out via USPS. Orders made after May 1st will be mailed out before the end of the month.
