Ready, set… loose!

Take aim for an afternoon of adventure! Join us and Discover Archery at the Baltimore Bowmen—a hands-on range experience where Scouts learn the basics, build confidence, and have a blast sending arrows downrange under the guidance of certified instructors.

When: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Where: Baltimore Bowmen Archery Club (Graham Memorial Park, 10301 Harford Road, Glen Arm, MD)
Who: Open to registered Scouts in Scouting America
Cost: $10 per person (includes lunch)

What’s Included

All equipment provided (bows, arrows, arm guards—no personal gear required)

Lunch (hot dogs, chips, and a drink)

Instruction and range time led by USA Archery Level 1 & 2 certified instructors

On-site restrooms and plenty of outdoor space

What to Bring/Wear

Closed-toe shoes, comfortable outdoor clothing

Refillable water bottle

Hat/sunscreen (event is outdoors)

Safety & Supervision

All Scouts must be accompanied by a unit leader or another adult. All participants must complete a RATA permission form signed by a parent or guardian.

Range operated under strict safety procedures and instructor supervision
