These trainings are required for those supervising a BB or archery range for a council or district activity who are not NRA Rifle Instructors or USA Archery Level I Instructors. Programs that usually need this training include Cub Day Camp, Cub Adventure Camp, Cub Family Weekend, and district Cub Scout events.

This training is active for one year after completion. Rangemasters who complete this training must be at least 18 years old to open a range. Participation in one session is enough to complete the course. For both weekends, BB training will be taught in the morning and Archery in the afternoon.
