This a two-part event for Adult Women who are New to Camping, have never been camping, or are unsure what camping is all about. This is open to all adult females involved with Cub Scouts or Scouts BSA. The Female Camping Extravaganza is staffed with only experienced female campers, hikers, and outdoor lovers!

Part 1 – Preparing for Camping. We will be discussing and answering your questions about Where do I start? What should I pack or not pack? What is a good tent, flashlight, or sleeping bag….? What questions should I be asking? We will discuss different camping gearing, choosing the best place for your tent, and much more! Come with your questions.

This is an informal event; you can come dressed comfortably with closed shoes, a water bottle, and a chair.

Part 2 – Let's Go Camping!  We will be using the equipment discussed in Preparing for Camping. We will prepare food and continue discussions about camping and activities while camping.
