Jamboree on the Air

Jamboree-on-the-Air, or JOTA, is the largest Scouting event in the world. It is held annually on the third full weekend in October. JOTA uses amateur radio to link Scouts and hams around the world, around the nation, and in your own community. Scouts of any age can participate, from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA and Venturers. Once at the ham radio station, the communication involves talking on a microphone and listening on the station speakers. This is a fun activity that fulfills STEM and Radio Merit Badge requirements.
The event will be held on October 18, 2025 at the Anne Arundel Radio Club at the Davidsonville Family Recreation Center at 3789 Queen Anne Bridge Road, Davidsonville, MD from 9 AM to 2 PM. The first 30 scouts to attend will receive an official JOTA patch. All scouts will also receive an official JOTA QSL card for any contacts they make.
