Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

This course provides Scouters with the confidence to take youth into the outdoors and fulfills position-specific training requirements for Scoutmasters and ASMs. This hands-on program is designed to help you master basic camp skills. You will learn how to set up camp, cook, work with ropes and woods tools, plan campfires, use a map and compass, prepare for hiking and backpacking, identify plants and animals, and practice outdoor ethics. Each outdoor session will bring to life the pages of the Scout Handbook to help you deliver the promise of Scouting to the youth in your troop.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)

This course if to help you better understand how to prepare and carry out a fun-filled camping trip for a Pack.  Every Pack camping trip is required to have at least one BALOO-trained leader.  Whether you are an experienced camper or a fresh in scouting, come learn some tips and tricks for having a successful outdoor event for Cub Scouts, parents, and leaders!

Participants should only register for only one course.
