Scouts BSA

In the 15th year of this keystone STEM event, Scouts BSA Scouts register to earn one STEM related Merit Badge while interacting with  Scientists, Engineers, and Soldiers from this pivotal Army Science and Technology installation.  Scouts will have an opportunity during the lunch break to attend the Installation STEM Open House to experience hands-on activities, educational demos, and large vehicles, some associated with their Merit Badge.  All Scouts participating in the Merit Badge event will receive a 2026 STEM in Scouting Patch.

Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts will participate in the Aberdeen Proving Ground STEM Open House. The event will include hands-on activities, educational demos, large vehicles and interaction with the Post’s Scientists, Engineers, and Soldiers on STEM related Topics.  Scouting participants must register for the event and will check in at a Scouting America table.  Cub Scouts can receive a STEM in Scouting Patch for $5.00.
