The Swimming Merit Badge and the Lifesaving Merit Badge will be offered again this winter on Sunday evenings starting Feb 15 until March 15, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (there may be make up days due to inclement weather.)  YOU MUST be able to pass the BSA swim test the first night, this is not a learn to swim class.

Webelos/AOL dates are 1/25. This is for the Webelos Aquanaut and the AOL Swimming beltloop. There will be portions (the talking part) that will need to done at your den meeting in order to earn the beltloop. Cost is $10 per scout.

Swim tests will be offered to Carroll District Troops. The registration is just a place holder so only take 1 spot to registerer your troop. We will contact you to see how many scouts/scouters will be taking the test and then give you a time to come to the Y. If all the spots are full go ahead and register in a waitlist spot, we will take as many troops as we can.

The location is the Westminster YMCA, 1719 Sykesville Rd, Westminster, MD 21157

You can only register for swim meritbadge or lifesaving, not both.  Life Saving can not be taken without completing Swimming previously.

 - Cost: $45 per Scout
 - Dates: 2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15,  Must attend all sessions, (3/22 available if needed).
