National Youth Leadership Training

May 27 – June 1, 2024 

at Quivira Scout Ranch 

Course Overview 

This premier Council level co-ed training experience teaches the concepts of what a Leader must BE, what they must KNOW, and what they must DO. Your week will focus on leadership principles located in and around your camp area with excursions throughout the week. 

Youth Who May Attend 

● Any registered Scouts BSA youth 13 or older and is First Class. 

● Scouts must be a First-Class Scout by May 26, 2024 and completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST). 

● Venture Scouts must have completed Crew Officers Orientation and Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews (ILSC). 

● Be recommended and registered by their Scoutmaster or Crew Advisor. 

Registration 

The NYLT fee is $275.  The cut-off date for registration and final fees due is April 18, 2024. 

To get registered, the Unit Leader must register the Youth on Black Pug at  https://scoutingevent.com/198-34054 along with a non-refundable deposit of $35.00.

NO Refunds, but fees may be transferred to another Scout.
