Osage Nation Cabin in the Woods

What is it? - CABIN IN THE WOODS is a fun, exciting weekend event for ARROW OF LIGHT, SCOUTS, VENTURE CREWS kick off the Scouting year.

Activities?The theme is Mummies. There will be activities Costume contest, Shooting Sports, Campsite Decorating Contest, TRICK OR TREATING, STEAM ACTIVITIES, HAUNTED TRAIL, & MUCH                                 MORE FUN! The haunted trails will have 3 levels of scare.

When?                   Friday-Sunday          OCT 4-6, 2024

Where?                  Kiwanis Shelter Parsons Lake

Supervision?          All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines, and all registered leaders must have completed NEW Youth Protection Training. AOLs must have appropriate unit leadership.

Cost?                      Pre-registration Fee is $26 youth adults $11. If an adult wants to participate it is $26. Registrations after September 7,2024 will be $36 per person.The registration fee includes program materials and a patch for all participants. Last day to register online is September 20, 2024.

Food?                     All packs are responsible for providing their own meals. Dinner Saturday will be a potluck.

 Refunds?               Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult.

Registration?         Registration is open online on Black Pug – find the link at www.quivira.org – Things to Do.

 Preregistration is required for program materials and patches to be provided to all participants. Registration prior to September 1,2024 is required to guarantee a patch. The event is open to all registered Cubs, and leaders. Online payment is required and may be made by credit card or electronic check. REQUIRED: ALL participants MUST have parts A & B of the health form. ea. Contact one of the individuals at the bottom of the page.

                              Each pack needs to provide 1 or 2 adult volunteers to help with program.

Insurance?             Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the BSA.
