What is Camp Alaska? Camp Alaska is a Scout skills competition of stations named after Alaskan cities, with each having a separate competition. This event is open to Scout BSA Troops and Cub Scouts at the Webelo and AOL levels. Come join us for learning sessions and competitions focused on Knots/Lashing, First Aid, Cooking, Team Building, Orientation and Fire Building.
Cost: $15/Youth and Adults - Now through February 4, 2022
$20/Youth and Adults - After February 4, 2022
No Registration after February 11, 2022
Check-in begins at 6:00 PM on Friday, 2/18
Event Parking: Each vehicle must have State Parking Pass Tag. These can be purchased as a day pass for $6 or you may purchase a year pass for all state parks for $25. Please purchase at https://www.kshuntfishcamp.com/privilegepos.page
When you enter camp, the Unit leader will be asked to provide:
1. Copy of Black Pug PAID receipt and attending roster
2. Copies of signed Quivira Council Covid form for each attendee
3. BSA Health Form Parts A and B for each attendee
Refunds: As this is an all-weather event no refunds will be provided. However, registration may be transferred to another member in the same unit.
Meals: Units must provide meals. Please be prepared with a sack lunch for Saturday.
Supervision: All units must have two deep leadership in according with Youth Protection Guidelines, & all registered leaders must have completed current Youth Protection Training.
Registration: Pre-registration is required in order for program materials and patches to be provided to all participants.
Insurance: Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the BSA.
