If you register for Zoom, an invite will be emailed – be sure your email is accurate!

Cost is $5.00, in person participants should bring their own lunch.

In-Person: Bring notepaper & pen or pencil. Anything needed to give your short presentation. (See below*)  COVID-19 WAIVER FORM for IN-PERSON REGISTRATIONS will need to be turned in at check-in.

BSA Field Uniform for your Scouting position.

Registration for in person Course attendance is limited to 20 participants, with unlimited Zoom participants. Registration must be booked by Wed., Nov. 24.

There will be no late registrations allowed.

*Pre-course Preparation: As part of the learning process, each participant will give a 10–12 minute presentation on a Scout-related topic of his or her choosing from the ScoutBSA Handbook or another program element like Cub Scouting or Venturing.  Participants may use any media they choose, and they should bring any material or equipment they need for their presentation with them to the “Trainer’s EDGE™” Course (i.e. laptop, flipchart, etc.).  Presentations will be conducted in a team setting via Zoom.  The presentation may be a specific skills session that uses the “EDGE™” (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable) method, but the broader skills of the trainer should also be demonstrated. A broad topic choice, such as presenting training information about the uniform, advancement, high adventure, hiking, or camping, could be selected.   You have homework!
