Shooting Sports Weekend

This is a chance for all BSA Troops, Sea Scouts and Venturers to enjoy the five fun shooting sport activities down by the range on Saturday with an opportunity to camp overnight and enjoy the relaxation of a fall evening at QSR. 

Scouts and Adults will get the opportunity to shoot rifles, shotguns, archery, sling shots and throw some tomahawks.

**The Rifle Shooting MB & the Shotgun Shooting MB are pre-requisite for this event**

Friday night October 22–Sunday morning October 24. Check in begins 7:00 pm on Friday night, and Saturday morning 8:00 am. Program begins with a Flag Ceremony at 8:30 am.

All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection guidelines. Adults must have current Youth Protection Training.

Early Bird Fee is $40 youth / $40 adults, if paid by October 8th
After October 8th, fees increase by $10.00Last day to register – Fri. 10/15 @ 11:59pm

Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another Scout or Adult. This is a rain or shine event.

Pre-registration is required for us to provide program materials to all participants. Event is open to ALL Quivira Council Scouts BSA. Please register via Black Pug via the www.Quivira.org web site.

Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the Quivira Council.

Covid Notice: Council Covid forms are required to attend this event. Each leader is responsible to ensure that no scout or adult from their unit is showing Covid symptoms prior to or during this event. Any individual exhibiting symptoms of Covid will be asked to leave camp immediately as well as the entire unit. These are the same guidelines as were used at summer camp.  Retrieve the form at www.quivira.org , or under attachements here on Black Pug.

Bring with you: When you arrive at camp, the Unit Leader in charge will be asked to provide:
• Copy of a Unit Roster listing each attendee (A&Y)
• Copy of completed Rifle/Shotgun Merit Badge
• Copies of signed Council Covid forms for each attendee
• BSA Health Form with Part’s A & B for each person attending
