MONSTER MASH
October 23, 2021 @ Winfield Lake

 

This is a day adventure that will involve activities for Cub Scouts and Webelos to earn several achievements while enjoying the outdoors.  Activities will range from water rockets, building conservation projects, fishing, and camp skills.  

Activities? Tigers – My Tiger Jungle, Floats and Boats, Tiger Tag; Wolves – Spirit of the Water, Council Fire, Cubs Who Care; Bears – Bear Necessities, A Bear Goes Fishing, Roaring with Laughter; Webelos – Build My Own Hero, Sports

All units must have two deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection guidelines.  Adults must have current Youth Protection Training.

Youth - $20 / Adults - $5.  No Late registrations, any late registrations will need to be approved by Event Coordinator

Last day to register –  ** EXTENDED ** Thursday, Oct. 7.

Check -In: When you enter camp, the Unit Leader will be asked to provide: Copy of Unit Roster listing each attendee, copies of signed Council Covid forms (found on www.quivira.org ) for each attendee, BSA Health Form with Parts A & B for each person attending, copies of current Youth Protection Training for each Adult attending.

Process: Cub Scouts / Webelos will be broken down by rank groups and participate in age/rank appropriate activities.  Packs will come together for Lunch, Dinner, and Campfire Program.  Units need to bring their own meals for Lunch and Dinner.  An hour will be provided for both meal times. 

Tag Along(s)? No siblings or tag-along(s) are allowed during this event, everyone must be a registered Scout or Adult Leader / Partner

There is no camping for the event, however Units may choose to utilize the Scout Camping area for their own Pack campout.  Units that are camping on their own, need to ensure that they are following BALOO training and guidelines.

Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another Scout or Adult.  This is a rain or shine event.

Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the Quivira Council.
Covid Notice: Each leader is responsible to ensure that no Scout or Adult from their Unit is showing Covid Symptoms prior to or during this event.  Any individual exhibiting symptoms of Covid will be asked to leave camp immediately as well as the entire unit.  These are the same guidelines as were used at summer camp and day camps.
