What is it? What is Celestial? Of or from the sky above us!
Activities? Cub scout, Scouts, Venture crew will learn about the sky above us, but how? For this camporee, we will travel to Greenbush. We will learn about the different telescopes. We might get a chance to look through them. Well learn about rockets and possible launch a few. Find your favorite constellation. The problem with describing the activities is that Greenbush is putting on this camporee. By the time the camporee comes around. They may have new and interesting things to entertain us.
When? Friday-Sunday - October 16th - 18th, 2026
Where? Greenbush, 947 W 47 Hwy, Girard, KS 66743 - In order to use Greenbush property, we have to do an hour or two of service clearing trails. Gloves and lopers are recommended.
Supervision? All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection Guidelines, and all registered leaders must have completed NEW Youth Protection Training. AOLs must have appropriate unit leadership.
Cost? Pre-registration Fee is $20 per person. Nonparticipant adult Fees are $5. A non-participant is a scouter that just watches. Registrations after Sept 18th will be $35 per person. The registration fee includes program material, and a patch for all participants. The last day to register online is September 25th, 2026.
Food? All unit participants are responsible for providing their own meals. Dinner Saturday will be a potluck. Under the shelter at 6pm.
Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees may be transferred to another Scout or Adult.

Preregistration is required for program materials and patches to be provided to all participants. The event is open to all registered Cubs, and leaders. Online payment is required and may be made by credit card or electronic check.
REQUIRED: ALL participants MUST have parts A & B of the health form. ea. Contact one of the individuals at the bottom of the page. Unit Roster is REQUIRED at check-in.
Each pack needs to provide 1 or 2 adult volunteers to help with program.
Insurance? Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members of the BSA.
