Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation Specifics Training

This one and one-half day course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for those leaders (Cubmasters, Ass’t. Cubmasters, Den leaders, other pack leaders, and parents) who are interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. BALOO is an instructor-led course that is conducted at the Council level. BSA's Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the necessary tools to help units carry out a successful camping experience.

                 Completion of this course is mandatory for at least one adult on a Pack overnighter.

Friday-Saturday, May 1st - 2nd @ 500 E Topeka, Whitewater, KS 67154. 

The weekend will begin with a 6:00 pm Check-In Friday evening. The class begins promptly at 7:00 pm. We plan to conclude by 6:00 PM Saturday. This includes 1 overnight in a tent!

 $20 per person. Refunds are not available but may be transferred to another leader. The deadline to reserve a seat for the class will be 5:00 PM Fri, April 24th, 2026. 

Saturday meals will be provided.
