WILDERNESS FIRST AID and CPR/AED at Great Plains Nature Center
Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 class will be from 9am-5pm on Saturday and 8:30am to 5pm on Sunday May 3rd.
This class covers CPR/AED(Adult, Child, and Infant), Wilderness First Aid. and Stop The Bleed. Even if you already have CPR/AED Training.
Course is open to BSA registered Adults & Youth (14 years and older)
CPR/AED/Wilderness First Aid: This is an 16 hr Course broken up over two days.
$175 for CPR/AED(Adult, Child, and Infant), Wilderness First Aid. and Stop The Bleed. Fee includes texts, workbook, activity materials, a 2-year certification. (Register for CPR/AED only if you don’t have a current certificate or just want to renew a current one now).
Last day to register online – Sunday, April 18th, 2026.
Class Size is limited to 20 in total! Additional particapants must be approved by the Event Director.
What to Bring? Please bring a pen/pencil, note paper, camp chair(preferably a back packing chair), water bottle, and appropriate outdoor wear. BSA unit activity shirt is recommended as this is a Scouting event.
Outdoor/Indoor Classroom: This class will be taught both indoors and outdoors. Please be prepared for lifting and hiking activities to simulate trek/camping conditions.
Meals: Please bring a sack lunch and snacks for both days.
IMPORTANT: Be sure you include your email in your registration! A participant letter will be e-mailed the week before to those for whom we have e-mail addresses.
