2026 QSR Antlerless Deer Hunt

***THIS IS NOT A SCOUTING EVENT OR ACTIVITY***

Purpose: Quivira Scout Ranch is located in Unit 12 of the KDWP which has an over abundance of whitetail, higher than anywhere else in the state. KDWP has asked us to help thin the popluation down to help maintain a healthy ecosystem. 

When: January 1st - 18th, 2026

Who can hunt? Individuals who are 18 years of age and older. New hunters must be accompanied by an experienced hunter.

 Cost? Hunters pay for time on property. $50 for the first night, $25 per night after. Cost goes into the QSR Maintaince fund to help maintain the Ranch during the off season. 

Meals: Meals are on your own. The Bradshaw building has a full kitchen and a community fridge. All cooking equipment is provided. 

Procedures: Hunters will coordinate with with Session leads on arrvial times to QSR. Every particapant will need to have a signed Hold Harlmess Agreement before being allowed into a blind. KDWP regulations will be followed during the hunt, all hunters must have a current hunting license and proper game tags(paper or E-tag(s)) issused by the State of Kansas. 

Equipment: Hunting blinds and corn are provided. Hunters must provide thier own rifle, ammunition, hunters orange and other personal equipment(i.e. bedding).
