Event Details
Inland Water Safety & Boating Weekend
Experience an exciting and challenging weekend focused on inland water safety and boating activities at Tuttle Creek Reservoir near Manhattan. Scouts will receive hands-on instruction from experienced instructors while working on one of the following merit badges:
- Small Boat Sailing
- Kayaking
- Motor Boating
- Water Sports
Important: If your Scout has already completed one of these merit badge classes, please do not register them for the same class again. This ensures that Scouts who have not yet had the opportunity are able to participate.
Eligibility requirements:
- Scouts must be 13 years of age or older
- Must have passed the Blue Swimmer test
- Swim checks will be completed at check-in
- Previous water skiing or wakeboarding experience is recommended for Water Sports Merit Badge
Due to the nature of this program, we cannot accommodate non-participating youth or siblings.
