Konza District Pinewood Derby 2026
Racing • Sportsmanship • Scout-built fun
The Konza District Pinewood Derby brings together the top Cub Scout racers from Packs across the district for a day of fun, friendly competition, and sportsmanship.
Eligibility
Cub Scouts registered in the Konza District who place 1st or 2nd by rank at their Pack Pinewood Derby qualify to race. Each Pack may send up to two Scouts per rank. One car per Scout.
District Qualifying Races
Packs may conduct their own Pinewood Derby races to determine qualifiers. The Konza District will also host optional district-supported qualifying races for Packs that need them:

These qualifying races are optional and intended to support Packs that do not host their own Pack Pinewood Derby.
District Registration & Inspection (Required for all Packs that run their own races)

- Cars must be turned in by the Cubmaster or Pack Pinewood Derby Chair.
- Cars will be inspected and impounded after registration. No late entries.
- Use the attached "2026 Konza District Pinewood Derby Registration Form"
- Label the bottom of each car with the Scout’s full name, rank, and Pack number.

Car Rules (Quick Note)
All cars must meet the Konza District Pinewood Derby Rules (2026) and be built using the official Scouting America Pinewood Derby kit (Item #17006).
