2026 National Jamboree Shakedown
Dates: Friday–Sunday, 22–24 May 2026
Location: Brown Memorial Camp,
Who: All Scouts and adult leaders selected for the 2026 National Scout Jamboree Contingent
This Highly encouraged Jamboree Shakedown is a critical preparation event for all Scouts and leaders attending the 2026 National Scout Jamboree.
Participants will camp and operate as a full contingent while practicing packing, patrol, and team operations, duty assignments, and daily routines that mirror National Jamboree conditions as closely as possible.
The purpose of this shakedown is to:
- Evaluate Scout readiness and fitness
- Practice Jamboree routines and expectations
- Identify equipment gaps and issues
- Build teamwork and cohesion within the contingent
Attendance is highly encouraged. Scouts are encouraged to attend the entire weekend unless excused in advance by Jamboree contingent leadership.
Important Information:
- Packing list and uniform guidance will be provided prior to the event
- Medical forms Part A &B must be current and on file
- Arrival and departure times will be communicated closer to the event
