The Triconda OA Chapter is hosting a Railroad Merit Badge Clinic. The clinic will be held Saturday October 5th, 2019 from 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. This event is open to all Scouts.

 This event will start at  the Railroad Depot at 200 SE 5th in Abilene Kansas. We will be taking a ride on a Steam Train and lunch will be provided. The registration fee is $28.00. This fee covers the train ride, lunch, and admission to Heritage Days in Abilene, 

There is a limit of 25 Scout attendees. Adults are welcome to attend but must make arrangements for their own lunch, Heritage Days admission, and Steam Train ride. Admission to Heritage Days can be paid at the gate. A ticket to ride the Steam Train is $15.00.

Pre-requirement: Plan a trip on Amtrack.  Plan a trip between two points. Obtain a schedule and explain when the train should arrive at two intermediate points. Include the cost of the ticket. Bring your plan to the merit badge clinic. All other requirements will be covered at the clinic. You also need to bring a Merit Badge card signed by your Scoutmaster.
