Experience an exciting and challenging weekend of inland water safety and boating activities on Tuttle Creek Reservoir near Manhattan.  Experienced instructors will give scouts hands-on boating experience while completing one of these merit badges: Small Boat Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Motor Boating, or Water Sports.  

If you have already earned the small boat sailing merit badge and would like to sail the bigger boats at Blue Valley Yacht Club, we are also offering an Advanced Sailing activity (not a merit badge) this year as well.

NOTE: Tuttle Creek is still at an extremely high level.  Because of flooding and extensive damage we cannot hold the event at our normal location.  We were unable to find any useable alternate location so, sadly, we will have to cancel the Kansas Sea Base 2019.  Fortunately, there is always next year!  Hopefully we will see you then.
