Fort Wayne Mayor's Luncheon for Scouting

Please join us for Scouting America’s Mayoral Luncheon scheduled for Wednesday September 18, 2024 at The IMPACT Center (3420 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne). Our program will begin promptly at 12 noon and should conclude by 1:30 pm. The keynote address will be given by Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker.
We will also be presenting our “Leader of Character Award” to Luther Whitfield, Senior Pastor of the New Covenant Worship Center. Mayor Tucker and Pastor Whitfield have long been recognized for their considerable leadership, commitment to service and are great examples of shared values of Scouting such as humility, integrity and character. Both are helping to guide Northeast Indiana into the future but remain active and passionate about programs in Fort Wayne’s southeast side.
This year our ScoutReach program welcomed over 600 new scouts in multiple partner locations throughout Fort Wayne’s Southeast side. ScoutReach is the Nationally recognized outreach initiative of Scouting America, committed to uplifting under-resourced communities through Scouting. The program focuses on providing children and adolescents with many opportunities to develop leadership, character, moral, and ethical decision-making skills.
During the program, individuals will be given an opportunity to make an investment in support of the local ScoutReach program for the 2024-25 season. If you wish to reserve a sponsored table and receive special recognition at the lunch, levels of corporate support are availble through this site.
Thank you, in advance, for your interest in and support of the more than 3000 local youth and families that are learning important life skills in hundreds of our Northeast Indiana Scouting programs. We look forward to seeing you on September 18th.
