The Foundation for Art and Music in Education’s annual FAME Festival has been a council-wide service project for nearly two decades, as both AWAC and FAME serve common territories. Over the years it has provided us with the perfect opportunity to highlight scouting to thousands of elementary-age children and their families. The Festival was canceled in 2020 and virtual in 2021, so we lost this great recruitment opportunity. This year it is finally back at the Grand Wayne Center, although once again affected by the pandemic. Instead of running two days, it will only be held on Saturday, March 19. Please plan for your unit to participate if at all possible.
