The Silver Beaver Award was introduced in 1931 and is a council level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America.  Recipients of this award are registered Scouters who have made an impact on the lives of youth through outstanding  service given to the council scouting and the community. 

In addition, this year we will all be presenting the first North Star Award in the history of the Anthony Wayne Area Council.  The North Star Award, similar to the Silver Beaver recognizes outstanding service to Scouting.  However, the recipient of the North Star Award may not be a registered Scouting volunteer.  This year, the Anthony Wayne Area Council is thrilled to present the North Start Award to :

A reception with lunch will follow the presentation of the awards.
