The Zeiger Service Award was to debut during the 2020 Resident Camp season to “recognize volunteer leaders that go above and beyond to carry out the mission of Camp Chief Little Turtle”.

Recognition would be limited each season to those who met a series of service requirements while at CCLT during resident camp. Recipients would be recognized at the closing campfire with the current year camp patch with a special gold border. Only 150 of these patches would be made and any unearned patches would be destroyed thus making them even more special.

With expenses already incurred for this summer season and the loss of significant revenue that helps offset the fixed costs of year-round camp operations, there is great concern for how we will be able to operate moving forward.

In the same spirit that the Zeiger Service Award was created, we would like to make available these limited-edition 2020 patches so that we can help ensure our ability to Deliver the Promise of Scouting into the future.

This patch will be made available to the first 150 donors of $100 or more. Each patch is numbered and will be issued in the order that requests are received. A generous donor has agreed to pay for the shipping of these patches directly to you.

As previously promised, any unsold patches will be destroyed, thus securing their uniqueness.

Regular 2020 Summer Camp Patches are also available and may be purchased for $5 per patch online and, hopefully, soon in our camp Trading Post.

Your support through the purchase of these patches will help with the following:

*Provide initial capital for alternative programming being developed for the 2020 season.

*Provide funding to cover fixed costs related to operating Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation.

*Cover expenses already incurred to operate summer resident camp.
