L.E.T.'S SOAR Into some fun...

Lincolnways Spring Cub-O-Ree will be an exciting adventure filled with fun and games for scouts and families of all ages. Scouts will get to shoot B.B. Guns and leather work (and take an item home), learn about Order of the Arrow with some special O.A. Guests, and finish off the day with a fun presentation with Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab.  

There will be additional fun activities to fill out the day, including a fishing game to practice casting, a cub-sized 9 square, tug of war, a hula hoop challenge, and even a fire starter making those scouts can take home with them. Gather clues from all stations with a secret code to earn a special prize at the end of the day. 

A sack lunch will be provided for all scouts, leaders, and family members if registered by May 1, 2023. If registered after May 1, you must bring a packed lunch. If you have special dietary needs (such as gluten, peanut, or dairy-free), please message Nicole at buscocubmaster@gmail.com with the scout's name and unit number. Do you have a friend interested in scouting?? Bring them along to join the fun and register them at the door (they will need to provide their lunch for Saturday). 

Camping on Friday night will be available for all units, and there will be a community campfire later in the evening. All teams that camp overnight are responsible for their food in the evening and can have above-ground fire pits. 

All Cub Scouts, new and existing (boys and girls), are welcome to attend this exciting event designed for the entire family. Cub Scouts, Mom, Dad, and siblings, are all invited to enjoy the Scouting experience as a family.

District Pinewood Derby will take place Saturday Afternoon Registration is $5.00 per car, and after the official race, we will have an Outlaw race for first place registration. So again, it is $5.00 per car.

Saturday Lunch will be a troop Chili cook-off. Each Troop is to make a chili dish for judging
Please bring a GPS-enabled device to navigate courses
Scouts will have the opportunity to earn
Geocaching and Radio merit badges
as well as
Interpreter Strip for Morse Code

Order of the arrow callouts will be on Saturday

Troops must have a song, skit, and troop/patrol yell for Saturday night campfire.
