The Klondike Derby is a day-long competition for Scouts BSA Patrols and Webelos Dens held in mid-Winter as a challenge to preparation and teamwork. This year we'll be running one loop with specific activities for Scouts and Webelos. Some of these activities include,

Fire Building,

Hot Rock Carry,

Red Snapper,

The Sled Balance Challange,

Sled Inspections,

Klondike Bowling 

Sled Race

And many more exciting activities.

Webelos\A.O.L. Scouts register at 8 AM 

Flags and Opening  announcements start at 9 AM 

Cost $10.00 per person

Klondike involves challenge stations designed to test the Scouts' knowledge of skills ranging from first aid to problem-solving and everything in between. But the more significant challenge is to dress and prepare for whatever the weather offers. We've successfully held Klondike Derbies in 9-degree temps with a foot of snow on the ground! 

** Please bring your mess kits and a  can of your favorite soup to add to the lunch soup pot on Saturday **
