Tuesday June 16, Camp Chief Little Turtle Staff & Volunteers will make available select merit badge programs for individual registration. These courses will beginning at 10am and run until 4:30pm. This round of merit badge offerings will run for four weeks. Additional offerings may be available beyond that based on demand. 

PROGRAM OFFERINGS: The following courses will be offered on the days indicated beginning June 16 through July 10. Programs may be extended and additional programs may be added beginning July 14 depending on demand and staff availability. Note that each badge requires only one day of attendance except First-Aid Merit Badge which requires two full days to complete.

REGISTRATION:

Scouts must be registered by the Friday prior to each weeks program. Each program will require at least 4 participants for the course to run. Registrants will be contacted by email on the Monday before if course is cancelled. All participants must bring part A & B of the BSA Health Form & provide it at check-in.

COST:

Each program cost varies and will include all necessary consumable equipment and kits. Cost also includes a 2020 CCLT Patch.  

LUNCH:

Scouts will need to bring their own bag lunch. refrigeration will NOT be provided. Scouts will be required to eat in the program areas. Scouts may not assemble with other individuals from other groups for meals.

CHECK-IN:

Vehicles may check-in at Long Lake Lodge beginning at 9am each morning to receive a vehicle pass. Program participants will then be directed to check-in at the Camp Chief Little Turtle Registration Shelter (in the parking lot) between 9:15 and 9:45. Vehicles with Merit Badge Program Participants  will not be assessed a vehicle fee. 

COVID PRECAUTIONS:

Safety is our primary concern for all participants. Program participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire and have their temperature taken before being permitted to participate. If a person does not pass the  health pre-screen, the entire vehicle will not be permitted to participate in any programs. Scouts in programs may not intermingle with scouts from other groups after the program has begun. Please reference the program guide for all precautions our staff will take during this program.

"Camp-Go" Bag:

All program necessary materials will be issued to each scout and will not be shared. All participants should bring the following in their "Camp-Go" bag:

BLUE CARDS/CHECKOUT:

Participants will be issued a check-out packet prior to departure. The packet will include completed blue card, returned health physical, camp patch, and additional promotional material for upcoming camp/council events.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

All guardians are required to remain on site. Some courses may require additional adults to ensure two-deep leadership. If two-deep leadership is not needed, guardians are permitted to participate in any Day-Use programs at no charge. In addition, designated wifi locations will be made available if requested. Guardians, parents, or leaders will not be allowed to “roam” between groups.
