2017 Explore Venturing
Event Details
Are your older scouts interested in knowing more about Venturing and experiencing high adventure, or is your crew looking for your next campout, activity, and recruiting event? Bring a friend or a sibling (13 and up!) and come join us for a weekend of activities and fellowship, April 28 - 30 at Explore Venturing! The event activities will include:
- Friday night double feature (movies)
- Crate Stacking
- Skeet shooting (20 & 12 gauge)
- Rifle and Handgun
- 3D Archery
- Sailboat, Canoes, Kayaking and more
- Flytying and Fishing
- LARPing
- Rendezvous Village - Life Size Clue Game
- Glowstick/Flashlight Capture the Flag
- Hiking around camp
- Kickball tournament
- Saturday night Luau by the pool (potluck style meal/dutch oven cooking competition, fire, music, and FUN!)
Please note, units are responsible for their own tents and food.
