Are you faster than a Boy Scout? Join us for the Inaugural Fit to Lead 5k and 1 Mile runs. This family friendly event includes the 5k run/walk and a 1 mile kids run (ages 5 - 12). Registration includes a tech t-shirt and overall age group awards for the 5k and t-shirt, finisher's medal, and age group awards for the 1 mile fun run (t-shirt guaranteed if registered by October 15, 2016.)

This event supports the Lewis & Clark Council (LCC) of the Boy Scouts of America. LCC provides opportunities to young people to stretch themselves in real world settings that help them understand who they are and envision who they can become. Scouting programs provide crucial experience that help young people clarify their values, goals, and their vision for the future.

Scouting builds stronger family units that build strong communities. One Scout at a time.

Awards
Awards for the top 3 overall fastest males and females in the 5k.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals in each age group for both the 5k and the 1 mile run.

Age group categories:
5k - Under 15, 15 - 18, 19 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+
1 mile - 5 - 6, 7 - 8, 9 - 10, 11 - 12

Award for the Scout unit with the most participants! (Volunteers included!)

Fees:
5k - $25 + $10 tax deductable donation to the Boy Scouts of America
1 Mile Run - $10

Race Day: 7 - 7:50a

7a - Registration/packet pick-up opens
7:50a - Registration/packet pick-up closes
7:57a - Welcome remarks, race instructions, and National Anthem
8a - 5K start
9a - 1 Mile start
9:20 - Awards ceremony
