2025 O‘AHU PINEWOOD DERBY CHAMPIONSHIP at Pearl Ridge Center

ENTRY DEADLINE:  Friday, April 25, 2025 (at midnight)

The top three Cub Scouts from each Pack can be entered to race in this year’s O‘ahu Pinewood Derby Championship at Pearl Ridge Center .

(If you have more than 30 Cub Scouts in your Pack, see below for details on sending additional cars/racers.)

If eligible Pack members have already crossed over to a Troop, their cars can still be submitted to represent the Pack.

Please download the O‘ahu Pinewood Derby Championship Rules cars must conform to these rules or they will be disqualified.  Please note weights or other items attached to the bottom of the car may prevent the car from racing on the track. 

Packs must register their Scouts in advance.  If you don't have the official rules yet, be sure to download the attachment.  These are substantially the same rules as in the past.

Adults and all Scouts can also enter the Outlaw Race--no registration required.  See the rules for more info.

Race: Saturday May 3, 2025

Hikina District:

·                Check-in: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM

·                Heats: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Outlaw Race: 12:00 PM – 12:40 PM (Outlaw cars must check-in by 11:30 AM) 

Komohana District:

·                Check-in: 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM

·                Heats: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Championship: 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM 

Larger Packs Can Send Extra Scouts

Larger Packs will be able to send more than 3 racers as outlined below.  Packs that currently have more than 30 Scouts registered may send the following to the O‘ahu Pinewood Derby Championship:

1-29 Scouts = 3 entries

30-49 Scouts = 4 entries

50-69 Scouts = 5 entries

70+ Scouts = 6 entries
