Get ready for the ultimate Scouting adventure of the summer at Camp Frank G. Lumpkin (FGL) — where fun, friendship, and the great outdoors come together on the shores of beautiful West Point Lake! Summer camp is the highlight of every Scout’s year, and there’s no better place to make memories than at FGL — the premier freshwater aquatics base in the Southeast.

Nestled on a 900-acre peninsula between Atlanta and Birmingham, Camp FGL offers everything Scouts dream about — from kayaking, canoeing, motorboating, and jet skiing on the McKenzie Waterfront, to the thrill of our 50-foot climbing and rappelling tower, archery and shooting ranges, and over 80 unique merit badges and specialty programs to choose from. Scouts can dive into STEM adventures, ecology exploration, and hands-on crafts while building skills and confidence that last a lifetime.

Our Chattahoochee Council staff and volunteers are passionate about providing a top-quality program, ensuring your unit’s week is filled with fun, fellowship, and unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s relaxing by the lake, tackling COPE challenges, or cheering at evening campfires, Camp FGL promises something special for everyone.

Camp FGL 2026 Registration & Fees

Register early and save! If you register between October 15–October 31, 2025, you’ll receive a $50 early registration credit—applied once your full balance is paid.

Early Registration (Oct. 15 – Mar. 1):
$435 per youth | $210 per adult

Standard Registration (After Mar. 1):
$460 per youth | $235 per adult

All balances are due by May 30, 2026.

Excursions/Off-Site Field Trips

At Camp FGL, adventure doesn’t stop at the gates! We’re proud to partner with our local community to offer exciting off-site excursions that take Scouting beyond camp. Scouts can experience thrilling whitewater rafting, explore the natural beauty of Callaway Gardens, and even take an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Kia Manufacturing Plant—just to name a few! These unique opportunities connect Scouts with real-world adventures while promoting teamwork, leadership, and discovery. Please note that some excursions may require additional fees and advanced registration. Get ready to explore more this summer at Camp FGL!

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Scouts and Adult Leaders who cancel at least 30 days before the start of their camp week will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
 

Cancellations made within 15 days of the camp start date will receive a 25% refund.
 

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date.
