THE BEAST

December 5-7TH, 2025

 

Have a fun-filled weekend of events ranging from Target Sports, Aquatics and Adventure Camp. Choose your own path and build your confidence in something new, or choose a program you already enjoy and learn to master it!


UNIT REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN:

Unit reservations are open until October 1st for a $60 non-refundable deposit. This allows your unit to finalize  numbers, and collect all neccessary funds for you trip from now to Oct. 1st. On Oct. 1st individual Scout/Adult registration opens per participant, once each individual fee is paid, they can then select their chosen program discipline and begin preparation. Only one piece of information is needed, to complete your campsite reservation.

DATE:

  • December 5-7th, 2025
  • Check-in occurs 5-8PM on Friday, December 5th
  • Welcome session held at 8:30PM on Friday, December 5th
  • Experience begins at 8:30AM on Saturday, December 6th
  • Experience concludes at 10:00AM on Sunday, December 7th

PROGRAM DETAILS:

The BEAST: YETI is here in 2026, and our staff is ready to deliver a fantastic program for our Scouts and Leaders! This weekend will feature many great camp programs Scouts know and love in a overland sled competition camp will be talking about for the ages!

Camp during this Winter weekend is focused on competitions and Scouts choosing one program discipline to explore, grow in, or begin to exemplify their Scouting excellence. Participants are encouraged to not only have fun in their chosen program, but also visit our “The BEAST: YETI Midway” in the evening for added fun and excitement. Here they can engage in Logic Puzzles, Engineering Challenges, Strategy Games, and Creativity!

Each Unit in order to compete must build a sled (one sled per 6-12* Scouts who want to participate)
   *Units can build more then 1 sled if multiple patrols wish to participate

  • Must be scout made and measure at least 2x4 feet (cannot have wheels)
  • Scouts most have the ability to pull the sled to events as a team
  • Each Sled must store items to be used to successfully complete a range of events

Yeti Events may include the following:

  • Fire Making
  • Aquatic Race
  • Target Shooting Events
  • Zip-line
  • Knot Tying
  • Plant Identification
  • Obstacle Course
  • More to come

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • Youth: $62
  • Adults: $52
  • Provisonal (Individual Scouts/No 2-deep leadership): $72

(Participant registration goes live in May, must be paid in full by November 28th)


MEALS:  You may choose to purchase meal(s) during the registration process OR you may bring your own and cook in your campsite. 

Four Meal Deal $31.25 Includes Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday Breakfast

Saturday Breakfast Pancakes, eggs, Texas smoked bacon, hash brown, Fruit, Juice, milk, coffee, tea butter, jelly, cereal, oatmeal/grits

Lunch Saturday Grilled ham and cheese sandwich, French Fries, cole slaw or tossed salad, Jell-O with pears, soda or lemonade

Saturday Dinner Chicken Parmesan, rigatoni, carrots, apple crisp, salad bar, soda or lemonade

Sunday Breakfast Eggs, sausage patty, hash brown, oatmeal/grits, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, fruit

 


RESERVE YOUR CAMPSITE NOW:

Pay a Unit deposit of $75 to guarantee your campsite preference for Friday Night (payment goes towards final unit total). The Unit deposit feature will be open until September 1st. Take advantage now to save your unit spot for this popular program.


REFUNDS:
All deposits paid, either for campsite or participant are non-refundable deposits. To request a refund of other monies paid, you must submit a refund request form and meet the criteria listed in order to receive a potential refund. HEALTH & SAFETY:

The health and safety of our Scouting family will always be our top priority and Camp La-No-Che is prepared to provide a safe, fun environment for your Scouts. Our team has worked with multiple Council Committees to provide guidelines aimed at keeping everyone in attendance safe and healthy.
