Frederick District Super Derby (Pinewood Derby)

What: Join Cub Scouts from all over the Frederick District for our annual District Pinewood Derby Race, also known as the Super Derby!! Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 fastest cars in each Scout rank.

Scouts will also receive an event patch with registration.

Leaders: Please register the Scouts by rank and include the name of the Scout's Pinewood Derby car in the 'comments' section of the registration.

Where: American Legion FSK Post #11  located at: 1450 Taney Avenue  Frederick, MD 21702

Who: Current Cub Scouts (Lion through Arrow of Light) who won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their Pack Pinewood Derby

When: Saturday, March 29, 2025. *Please note*-check-in time and race time are specified below based on rank:

Lions, Tigers, Wolves

Car Check-in: 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

Race Start Time: 10:00 a.m.

Awards: 12:00 p.m.

Bears, Webelos, Arrow of Light

Car Check-in: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Race Start Time: 1:45 p.m.

Awards: 4:30 p.m.

Cars will be inspected and weighed during "check-in" before the race begins on Saturday morning.
